Hy-Speed
Machining, Inc. takes the utmost care with the parts which we manufacture.
When the material is received, it is checked to make sure it is the
right size and the right type; then, the material is tagged. From this
point, we set up the manufacturing outline which gives a detailed description
of how the part will be fabricated.
After the first article is checked by the inspector,
it cannot be bought off until his stamp appears in the designated place
on the manufacturing outline. Each operator knows that he/she can't
run the job until the previous operation is bought off. All operators
are trained and equipped with special measuring devices with which they
check the parts as they come off the machine. During this time, an hourly
line check is also being performed by the floor inspector. Every step
of the job is repeated in this way.
When the parts are completed, they are placed on a
designated table for final inspection. From here, the parts are counted,
checked and bought off. Parts are then shipped to the customer or outside
processing.
To document quality control, the Coordinate Measuring
Machine (CMM) produces a detailed printout of all dimensions of the
part, which is available upon customer's request. Critical dimensions
are designated as KEY dimensions and are charted as further means of
control.
At Hy Speed Machining, Inc., we believe that
communication with our customers is a vital element in successful production,
and we are constantly updating our quality control system as technological
breakthroughs occur, in order to assure the utmost quality in our customers'
parts for your satisfaction.
